The close of summer.......

We have returned from a week up North with the family at Birchbank Cottages (in Restoule, Ontario).

We enjoyed a cool, but sunny week.

We delighted in time spent with friends...and the special family members (guests)for the week....Opa and Oma!

My parents set up their camper and spent the week enjoying cottage life.  It was lovely to have them.

We had quite the treat staying in a brand new cottage, thoughtfully equipped for families!

There were campfires, games, bacon and eggs for breakfast (3 times!), skiing (yes- I went once as well!), tubing, trips to the local pottery/craft store, fishing, and much more!

Now we are looking ahead to the beginning of a school year......

I am ever so grateful to serve a God that gives us all we need to accomplish our duties.  I look forward to see what the Lord has in store for our family this year.
