Last one for Oma and the Kiwi Aunty!
Ok......You have a bunch of photos to look at since last week! :) This year Jacob got a "combo" gift for his birthday AND Christmas- a compound bow. While the cows figure out how to jump the fence at get at the bale of hay, Jacob (with Justin as an assistant), is practising his aim! He was thrilled with this latest "weapon!" He is bound to get many hours of enjoyment out of this one as it can be adjusted to higher tensions as he grows........the eyes are getting heavy now......Good-night!
Licking away.
Eric said that children could pick something special to "eat" during the Christmas holidays. Their choice: these HUGE jawbreaker things (size of tennis ball)....that you lick away till you reach the gum in the middle! These photos are totally NOT posed, I found them all like this, cozy by the fire, listening to books on tape and.....licking away!
A special post for Oma and Auntie Lilly-Anne!
Gideon thought he needed to rearrange the apples! HA!
Macayla spent hours on this yummmmy chocolate candy-cane cake! Delicious!
It was nice talking to you on the phone Oma and Aunty Lilly-Anne.....so while Eric is checking on everyone before bed, I (Christine) am posting a few more photos for you!
I'll add a few more.....grab that cuppa!
Love to all!

Winterwonderland!
I had to get some photos from my friends below the equator! This is what the last few days have brought us! Quite the storms! The children are just LOVING it....spending hours outside! We are on our two week Christmas break now.....we are all ready to have a rest from the "intense" brainpower usage! Blessed Christmas to all!

Nice job!
Levi did such a wonderful job of his ornament- with a little help from my dad! :) Great memories.....
Celebration.
We had a busy, but lovely day celebrating Christmas a couple of weeks ago.....the children were able to do some sledding, we all ate too much food, and enjoyed a craft as well! We have to keep that many children busy! It was a harder day for Oma, being Opa's birthday...and remembering her wayward son during such a gathering. We pray that the Lord will soften the heart of my uncle, and reveal Himself to his ex-wife, who we have including in our gatherings for the last two years. Sad. Sin is so far reaching.....may the Lord come quickly.....but before that may be truly see and know His Greatness!

And we're waiting....
We're all exciting (especially the children)......Christmas is in the air. My aunt and uncle from British Columbia are over and we plan to celebrate our Saviour's birth this Saturday. I haven't seen this uncle for about 20 years, and this is my mom's only sister so it is lovely to catch up. Tonight they are coming over for dinner with my parents.....Macayla is in the process of making a yummy chocolate candy cane cake! And then in two days- we will have 14 adults and 14 children here! So....taking the advantage of homeschooling flexibility- we are having a PD day! Getting everything ready.....
As we await and prepare for this season may we not loose sight of that most precious gift in a Redeember and His humble beginnings, but highest calling! Blessings.....
