Energy Bites!

My sister shared this great "no-bake" recipe.   I have been making them quite regularly.  SO easy!

Ingredients:
1 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup (nut) butter  (I've used both peanut butter and almond- both yummy)
1/3 cup honey
1 cup coconut flakes
1/2 cup ground flax(seed)
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix thoroughly.  Chill for 1/2 hour.  Once chilled, roll into balls.   Keep in fridge (for up to a week)!

True Confessions of a pint-sized Jokester.

WARNING:  This post contains some graphic content.

Hello.  My name is Malachi.
I am already 3 months old.  Don't you love my little grin....full of mischief.  Well.  Let me tell you.
I'm good at eating, sleeping (most of the time!), and just generally being a happy chappy!
But, I have a great trick!
You see, since I was very young I've had this sly method of "saving" up my...achem...bowel motions for as long as 7 or 8 days!   Then....major explosion!
Well.  This week, I must say I've outdone myself!   I waited for 10 days!  You see that way, it was the day that my mom took me to the doctor for a check-up and I could tip the scales at 14 pounds 13 ounces!   I'm so smart!   My mom asked the doctor if this "trick" of mine was a problem, and I just chuckled in my mind when he assured mom that I'd be fine.   Little did they know.....
Fast forward a few more hours, I was happily sitting in my seat while the family was finishing their supper.  I smiled as I knew my master plan was about to come to a climax!
Just as my mom was about to enjoy her ice cream, I let out some "grumbles".....and the discovery was made!
HA! HA!
This was the best joke yet!  My mom, plus three assistants were required to give me a bottom torso rinse off followed by a full bath!  I laughed the whole time!  It was great!
When it was all over, by mom went back to her ice cream which by now was precisely the consistency of.....well.  Never mind.
Now on to the next week!
Oh, and I must tell you those two brothers of mine that look the same (funny how that is!), they each got a camera for Christmas.  This was just in time for your cute-ness to enter the world.
Justin took the photo at the top of this post and I thought it was quite nice.  You can almost see my mind working out all of my funny plans!
