FUN at Camp Crossroads.

We spent 4 days up North just west of Gravenhurst at a homeschool/family retreat.
This was our first time here and we all had a wonderful time. Looks like this may be a yearly winter tradition for us!
The camp was founded and is currently run by Mennonite folk and about 5 or 6 years ago the idea to have activities during the "off-season" with homeschooling families began! For the two days children 8-14 years old are in a program on a specific theme. The session was "Native studies." The high-light was the tube run....along with other winter sports to enjoy! The meals were provided....and we had a wonderful time connecting with friends, and meeting new ones! FUN!

Newborn.

My sister and I recently took some photos of this "yummy" squishy newborn. So beautiful!

Critical "gear" for the day.

Our Gideon. Quite methodically came up with this "get-up". Gift bag, water/pool squirt thing, inside-out hat, pack-back complete with a piece of wood that HAD to be put in the through the back, gloves, brother's boots (thankfully clean ones). What more could you need?

Remember....

That "game" from Sesame Street...."One of these things is not like the other.....lalalala" Can you guess? Oh the joys of children and finding things in, well, unlikely places. Cute. More to come.....
