Sunday School Graduation

In the Vineland Free Reformed church it is a long-standing tradition to have a somewhat formal graduation upon completion of Sunday School, and moving on to evening Catechism classes.
This year it was Macayla's turn!
The Sunday School board, teachers, parents (and a baby brother) and graduates enjoy a nice supper together, as well as some contributions from the students (games, speeches, singing, etc).
The pastor's wife from our church is an excellent seamstress.
She kindly offered to give Macayla some lessons.
And the purple dotted dress she is wearing is her first bigger project!
I think it turned out wonderful!
I was "packing light" that evening, and only brought Kadin's small camera with me, hence I didn't get too many photos......also busy with baby too!
A nice evening and we are proud of our daughter and she is turning into a fine young lady!

pretty dress! I used to sew my own dresses, but got so frustrated with it... I still have them though, because after all that work I couldn't bear to just throw them out when they went out of style or no longer fit! My girls enjoy wearing them for "dress-up" now. :)
