30,000 island cruise on Georgian Bay

As I mentioned, since we had a cooler drizzly day, we decided to go on this 3 hour cruise ship out of Parry Sound.   It was lovely.   Here's the six before we left....
There were many cottages to see....and dream about.   Many interesting facts were told to us as we sailed.  All of these islands are accessed by either boat or plane.   Many do NOT have electricity, but something tells me that the cottage above is probably one of the few that "splurged" and has underwater lines running to their place!
Starting at number one, we made a full circle.
Another beautiful place on a hill!   All of the 30,000 islands are registered.  In order to "count" they have to be at least one acre big.
Some of the islands are "state" owned, and some are privately owned.    We were told that from time to time as island would come up for sale......often for around $1 million.    After we bought lunch, and an ice cream on board, we figured we couldn't afford an island anymore!   Whatever.
Lots of open water too!    The boat was not busy, so the children were free to roam the three levels of the boat.   This little man wasn't so "free".....and stayed with his mom or dad!
We had to pass through a swing bridge.....very cool.
A view of the ship!
Such a blessing to have the means to enjoy this little trip, and stand in awe at God's creation!
